Wellington, April 2. An unusual claim far (Hmage R was heard m the Magistrate's Court to-day °".tho eveniiic of 19th May, 1911, the plaintift, a woman 08 >ea.rs of a^e was crossing Lambton Quay after 5 p.m. The lamps were lit. and there was ? drizzling rain. She was going to catch a tram when the defendant, a tailor, coming in the: opposition direction with his head down and in a hurry,-collided with th o plaintiff, knocking her across the. tram track on her back. As a, result of the collision plaintiff was- injured and slio claimed damages. After hearing the evidence the Magistrate awarded plaintiff damages sufficient to co7«r 5s a week for a year (£l3) and expenses amounting to £5 14s,
