PHOTOGRAPHER AND FARMER
QUARREL

Auckland!, April 1
Tho "Herald's" correspondent at Whakatarip, reports a shooting affray at Tancahia on Saturday. A farmer and a photographer are alleged to have quarrelled over a disputed account, and when the farmer was leaving tho photographer's premises tho latter is said to have fired at him with a revolver. The bullet entered the muscles of the shculder, and caused a wound about two inches deep. The bullet was extracted, and the wound isnot considered dangerous. The photographer then gave himself up to the police, and was brought before a Justice of tho Peace, and remanded till Wednesday.
