ALLOCATION OF PRIVATE
SECRETARIES
Wellington. March 29,
Tho following is the allocation of private secretaries to new Ministers: Mr. L. Johnson remains secretary to the Hon. T. Mackenzie, and has with him Sir. H. Groeofrt. who was till lately with Sir Joseph Ward ; Mr. 'P. Thomson lately with Mr. Millar, will be attached to the/ Hon. A. M. Myers; Mr. F. Matthews;, lately with Sir Joseph Ward, mid with him Mr Balneavis lately with the Hon. A. T. Ngnta, to the Hon. W. D. S. Macdonald ; Mr. E. Poulton .lately with Sir John Findlay, to tho Hon. (t. Lauren son ; Mr. J. Black, lately with Mr. D. Buddo, to the Hon. G. W. Russell; Mr. W. Crow, 'ately with Mr. G. Fowlds. to tho Hon. H. G. Ell. who. it is understood, will relievo the Hon. 3. Colvin of the duties of PostmasterGeneral : Mr. J. MeAlister, lately with Mr. R. MoKensuV. to the Hon. j. Colvin. Other appointments have yet to bo made.
