OLD WOMAN BURNED TO DEATH.

Mrs Orr, a woman of 75 ; was burnt to death at Cobden last night through a hut catching fire.
BOY INJURED BY MACHINERY
A boy named Harris, aged about 14 years, was.rather"seriously injured at Griffin's mill yesterday. lie was manipulating machinery whan his hand was caught in tbe wheels, and sevoroly crushed. Thrro fingers were severed, and the rest of the hand was badly bruised. Dr. Gibhs 'dressed tho wound, aud the sufferer w.is removed to the hospital, where, he now lies. Hp< will probably not lose tho rest oi' his fingers.
