CONSPIRACY CHARGES.

SEVERAL LEADERS ARRESTED

London, March 6.

Pethick Lawrence and his wife, and Christabel Pankhurst, havo been arrested on a charge of conspiring to incite to damage of property. The police removed documents from the Women's Social and Political Union offices.

Owing to the recent suffragette outbreaks the State apartments at Hampton Court, and Kensington and New Palaces, and Windsor Castle, havo been closed.

Soventeen suffragettes were sentenced to imprisonment with hard labour.

Tho Women's Freedom League has issued a, manifesto signed by Mrs Dospard and others, announcing a truce awaiting the Premier's pledges.
