WEATHER FORECAST.
Wellington, Jan 30. The following is the R«v. D. C. Bates' weather forecast a)«i sum *>\ary:— Moderate to strong easterly and south easterly winds have prevailed, and little change lias taken place in the atmospheric conditions. Showers have fallen northward of Kawhia and Gisborne, and in a few other parts. The skies arc still hazy, and cloudy in most parts of the North Island, but fine weather is reported in the South. The aspect is still threatening to the north eastward. Present indications are for warm and humid conditions northward of Now Plymouth and Castlepoint, and unsettled and showery weather is probable, with strong easterly winds elsewhere. The barometer is due to rise with moderate to strong easterly and south easterly winds and fair to cloudy weather.
