(Received Jan 38, 5.5 p.m.) Constantinople, Jan 2P. Tho Italian cruiser Piemonto lowered ; i boat flying tho white flag at Hodeidah, and captured a motor launch flying the Union Jack.

It is reported that the British Consul has requested tho presence of a warship, and sent the Italians a noto threatening to bombard Hodeidah.

Iliza Bey and four others on board the steamer Africa have been released.
