The Prime Minister returned to Wellington from tho North yesterday, says a Press Association telegram.
Tho Mayor yesterday received a telegram from the Hon. R. McKenzic, Minister of Public Works, stating that he would arrive in Nelson to-day and proceed to Motuoka this afternoon. Mr. McKenzie will proceed overland to Takaka who re he opens the A. and P. Association's show tomorrow.
