A London bride and bridegroom struck quite a new idea in gifts the other day, for they gave each other revolvers as wedding presents

Attendants at the chief theatre in 'Warsaw, on entering the Court box to dust the seats ready for the evening performance, saw a figure sitting very erect in one- of the seats of the box that was hidden in shadow. Turning on the lights they discovered that the figuro was tho corpse of a well dressed man, and that his pockets had been emptied. A doctor was called, tVAtI declared that the man had been ,dead for many hours. He had apparently been tho victim of thieves, who had carefully propped his body up in the chair at the back of tho box. His identity is still unknown.
