WEDDING.
JACOBS—MANOY. (From "The Colonist," Jan. 8.) A quilt wedding was solemnised at the rwsidenco of Mr A. Manoy on Wednesday last, says the "Motueka Star," the contracting parties being Miss Ailsoy Maiioy, only daughter of Mr A. .Mahoy, Motuoka, •;and Mr S. Jacobs, oldest son of-Mr N.. J-.cobs, Wellington, and a meml»ei':of the firm of Messrs Joseph Nathan and (>.. Wellington. The ceremony wits performed by the llev. H. Va'ii Scar'ran. The "best man" Was Mr- F. C. Jacobs and the attending gcnt'.emen Messrs Harry and It. Manoy and A. and B. Jacobs.. The bride, who was given away by Mr A. Manoy and Mrs S. Harris, was dressed in white crepe de. chene, trimmed with French embroidery and real lace and large electric blue hat trimmed with large blue ostrich feather. 'She carried a lovely shower bouquet of white heath and Canterbury bolls. Among the ladies pr-'S-cnt were Mrs Harris, is Jacobs, Misses Mom (2), Mrs A. I.
