NELSON FREEZING COMPANY.
BRANDS GROWING IX POPULARITY. (From "The Colonist," Jan. 13.) A meeting of the directors of tho Nelson Freezing Company, Limited was held on Thursday evening, when Mr George Maeinahon was re-elected chairman of the company for the en suing year. The manager, Mr J. A. Mitchell, reported that the company's brands were low so well known that outside, buyers were prepared to piii-sliasc from owners on the hooks at the works, and it was decided to iiand to the Press each week the current prices offering. Current "over all" prices for January shipment are as follows: — Lamb, N.F.C., prime quality, up to 42'.hs. Id per lb; do. seconds aid overs, 3;jd; mutton, N.j.lj , prime unders 641bs. 3d; do., seconds Mid overs, 2Jd ; ewes up to 721bs, 2 l-16d; overs, 2d. It may be explained that "over all" prices mean that the owner is paid at the above rates for the company's weights, skins and offal belonging to tho purchaser.
