WRECK AT THE NEW HEBRIDES.
TWENTY-FOUR LIVES LOST.
(Received Jan 15, 9.10 p.m.) Sydnsy, Jan 15. Mr King, Resident Commissioner at Vila, New Hebrides, cabled to the Navigation Department that tlm steamer Tatlira foundered at sea Twenty-four lives were lost, including the chief engineer (Mr Russell), the chief steward (Mr Wilcox), and a passenger named Ixer.
