Dunedfn, Dec. 10. The official count of votes recorded in the Chalmers electorate giveß the follotving figures:— *E. H. Clark (I.L) 2842 J.T. Johnson (1.L.) 1-17-1 ,1. Diekson (Lu.) l;3/o A. McCarthy (Lab.) 57x> Thirteen absent votes aro still to come. On election night 80 votes at oik* booth wore wrongly credited to Mr. McCarthy, which shou'.d have boon counted for Mr. Johnson. The second ballot will, therefore, bo botwecn Messrs. Clark and Johnson.
