currants, also raspberries, is particularly keen, and it is expected 7s to 8s a half case will rule for red currants. Gooseberries aro selling well at os to os (id per half case, strawberries lOd to is per lb; tomatoes 9Jd to lO'xd lb; passion fruit S's to 9s 6d halt case. New potatoes: The market is depressed through over supply, and sales are.made at 6s cwt. Green peas 5s Gd to 6s 6d cental bag. Fresh eggs lOd dozen.

Messrs George Thomas and Co report a strong demand for all Nelson i'ruit and produce. To-day's ruling values are: Greon peas, arriving in large quantities, 5s to 6s cental bag; gooseberries os to 5s 6d half dump; strawberries lOd to Is 3d lb; cucumbers 4d to 7d each; grapes 2s lb; cherries 10s to 11s half case; new potatoes, Hutt 8s to 9s cwt; French beans 7d to 9d lb; asparagus Gd to Is per bundle; Nelson 8d to Sjtl; cabbages 3s to 5s sack; cauliflowers os to Ss sack ; eggs, sales arc dull at lOd dozen. Good poultry is in excellent demand.
