A conference representing 100,000 Yorkshire trades unionists at Bradford, protested against the attempt to repeal the Trade Disputes Act, and condemned the use ol military m strikes, and the establishment o( the proposed constabulary. The speakers de-!ar<.'d that the repeal of th,. Ai.-t would result in a revolution. Tho railway men would immediately strike. It was suggested that members belonging to the Territorial force should resign, and workmen refuso to join the Army.
