Mr. Arnold Routhwaite, expert for the Dominion milking machines, sustained a severe accident at Te Arai. One of his feet was caught in the bolting of an oil engine, and the leg was curled round the wheel, tho thigh and the leg . below the knee being broken in nine places. Amputation will be necessary.
