NELSON CLUB. The Feather competitions wore continued on this green, five out of six rinks being thus engaged. The results were as follows :— Saunders, Marlcy, Crcsswell, Watt (s) 19 beat Trent, Sadd, Angus, de Castro (s) 16; Coster, Hookey, Mansford, Littlcjolm (s) 24 boat F. Graham', Leckie, Monzies, Stiles (s) 23 ; ■ Wilkinson, Colclough, Hogg, Crawford (s) 19 beat Monson, Field, Gould Kempthorno (s) 16; Turnbull, C. Graham, Pauling, Rout (s) 18 beat Cullen H, -Leaper, Condell, Eleaps (s) 17; Clutten, Weir, Rutherford, E. J. Allen (s) 28 beat Levien, A. Leaper, , Harkuess, Tasker (s) 17. During the week Watt and Sharp disposed of their unplayed Feather , game, when Sharp won by 22 to 13. Next Saturday is the first Pemwnt fixture of the season against tho Maitai Club, and on the following Saturday it is understood a contingent of I tho Club will journey to Waketield to [ assist the local Club in the opening , of its new green. I The senior Pennant match will be played next Saturday on the Nelson green. For tho ensuing season tho Pennant matches will be played on the third Saturday and third Wednesday in alternate months.
