HAYWARD'S PICTURES.
Tlio matinco and evening performance ;tt the Theatre Royal last Saturday wero both crowded, tho splendid programme being highly appreciated. The star items "A Flash of Light," and "Tim Mahoney," wore both sensational pictures, tho latter depicting some apthetie scenes, the result of Tim Mahoney going out on strike. He sees his wife and children dying of starvation and returns to work much to the disgust and contempt of his fellow workmen, who call him a scab, and stone him. The scenics are specially good, the beautiful architectural work of the "Mosques in Cairo" boing loudly applauded. The comedies have not been forgotten, and arc exceedingly humorous, "Davy Jone His Wife's Husband" creating great laughter. This fine programme is o;i to-night and to-morrow night.
