AVOID OPERATIONS. Extract from London "Medical Magazine" for May, 1910 :■—"Tkese ferments, obtained from the papaw, are made up in the form of an ointment and gargle, and are recommended as an application to enlarged glandular tissues, tumours and ulcorations. The present preparation seems to combino the most active ferments of tho plant in a successful manner. Its activity was demonstrated by several cases of hypertrophy of the turbinal bodies, and in cases of enlarged tonsils. After three or four weeks' application there was very, very marked improvement. There can be no doubt that the preparation is unusually effective, and should prove very serviceable, obviating the necessity for operative procedures in many cases. Snch operative procedures are often adopted much too hastily. The present ferments are well deserving of a trial, and in many cases we have no doubt tho result will be satisfactory." Papaw Ointment, 1/6 (for ulcers, i tnmours, goitre and poisoned wounds); | Papaw Papayate, '2s 6d (for nasal ' oatarrh); Papaw Tonic, 2/6; Papaw Pile Cnre, 2s 6d. Wholesale: J.
