PREPARATIONS AT PEKIN.
Pekiri, Nov io. A quarter of a million of the inhabitants have fled. Ball cartridge was served out to the Legation guards and siiops are beginning to barricade British bluejackets arc guarding European quarters. Four guns were landed at Canton.
