LOYAL HOWARD LODGE, M.U. 1.0.0. F.

The half-yearly financial summoned meeting of the above lodge was held bst evening, when a fair number of members were in attendance. From the bajance sheet and statement, producer! this Lodge stil! maiu'runs itspasition financially. T!io Sick

and Funeral Fund, after .paying £174 10s 5d for sick pay during the halfyear, has increased by £182 16s 6d, and now has a credit balance of £7972 18s 3d. The Management Fund has a credit balance of £20 16s. The sum of £42 2s 7d was paid over to the district widows and orphans fund. Tho total worth of the Lodge now stands at £10,041 12s 2d. The following members were appointed to attend the noxt district meeting: Bros. J. E. Clear, A. E. Davies, W. Liddle, A. R. Kitclnng, and H. A. Corder.

Tho officers appointed to fill the various offices of the Lodgo are: G.M., Bro. H. A. Corder; W.G., Bro. A. E. Davics; V.G., Bro. T. Harris; E.S. Bro. C. Graham. The surgeon (Dr. Bett), the treasurer (Bro. W. Moyes), and tho permanent secretary (Bro. A. N. Batchelor) still retain their respective offices.

The G.M. of the District, Bro. J. W. Hagen, the D.G.M., Bro. W. Thompson, and the C.S., Bro. A. G. Shrimpton, paid an official visit to the Lodge and received a hearty vote of thanks for their attendance.
