Wellington, July 25. Arrangements have now been completed by the New Zealand Rugby Union for the tour of the North and "South Island country representatives. The North Island team comprises: Horowhenua, N. Winiata (back), W. Winiata (forward) ; Manawatu, O'Connor (back), Carroll (forward); Wairarapa, N. McKenzie (back), P. Barry, A. Desmond ; Bush Districts: H. Mexted (back), Gordon Smith (forward); South Auckland, S. Darby, N. Morgan, Lcnnard (backs); Poverty Bay, Miller (back). Winter, Thompson (forwards); Bay of Plenty, Montgomery (back), Dougall (forward) ; Hawlce's Bay, Downing, Mitchell, Martin (forwards). Mr. J. D. Avery will accompany the team as manager. The team will play Auckland on July 29th, leave Auckland for New Plymouth by boat on Sunday July 30th, play the Taranaki Union at Now Plymouth on Thursday August 3rd, leave for Wauganui on Friday morning play Wanganui August sth," leave for Wellington on Monday August 7th, play Wellington on August 9th, play South Island team Saturday August 12th, departure for home on Monday, August 14th.
The South Island team is: Nelson, Prussing," F. Hunter (backs), Smith, Best (forwards); Buller: C. Green, J. Hansby (backs), J. Nolan, J. Tannahill, R. Todd (forwards); West Coast: E. Irving, J. Christie, Church (backs), A. Brown, Richards (forwards); Marlborough : J. O'Brien, C. Manning (backs), J. McDonald, 11. Forbes, G. Forbes, R. Sheridan (forwards). Mr. S. F. Wilson goes as manager. ' The team will be staying at tho City Hotel, Christchnrch ; Trocadero Private Hotel Dunedin; Buchanan's Railway Hotel, InvercargilJ; and Barrett's Hotel, Wellington. The players will assemble at Christchurch on Tuesday, August Ist, play the Canterbury Union on Thursday, August 3rd, leave for Dunedin on Friday morning August 4th, play Otago Union August sth, leave for Inwrcargill on Monday, August 7th, play the Southland Union on Wednesday, August 9th, leave by first express for Christchurch on Thursday, August ]Oth, catching tho steamer that night for Wellington, play the North Island team at Wellington on Saturday, August 12th.
