FIRES.
AN HOTEL DESTROYED,

Stratford, July 25. The Whangamomona Hotel, owned by Mr. R. Campbell, . licensee 1. Calgher, was totaljj destroyed by fire at 2.30 this morning. It was insured for £1000 in the Phoenix Office, and £500 in the Commercial Union. The insurances on the Rtock and furniture aro in the Boyal Exchange Office, but the amounts are not known.
