Ottawa, June 25

Queen Alexandra, in reply to Canada's congratulatory Coronation message, cabled by Lord Grey, expressed thanks "for the kind words and thoughts of me during the sacred ceremony for my dear son and daughter," and added, "I thank God that all went Off well."

The Nelson Education Board resolved, at yesterday's meeting, on the motion of the Chairman, that the various Committees be thanked for the arrangements made for the entertainment of tho children on Coronation Day, and that the thanks of the Board be conveyed to Mr. H. Saunders and a'l tho ladies and gentlemen assisting him for their magnificent efforts on the same occasion.
