Dunedin, May 16. The Arbitration Court sat here today.

Mr. Brecn, on behalf of the Iron and Brass Moulders' Union, opposed the recommendation of the assessors in the matter of the award governing that industry in regard to wa»« fox stock catalogue work, as the clause had been copied from the engineers' award, and had been found unsatisfactory. Mr. Justice Sim said that the Coatt would not allow persons to pick nut what suited thorn in the recommendations or abandon their application lor an award. The Union should net as fairly as the employers were suppose.! to do. If the employers, after agreeing to a recommendation, were to attempt to repudiate it, there would be a great howl. Mr. Breen said that the ass-TW)r3 wore satisfied that they had made a mistake. He agreed to return the matter to the Conciliation Court.
