A MAN GASHES HIS THROAT.

Hastings, May 13. Arthur Thomas, aged 35 years, who is employed at the Tomoana Freezing Works, was found unconscious on Dr. Storey's verandah with a gashed throat. It is understood he had been drinking, and he committed the deed in his own house, but repenting, he wandered through the streets to the doctor's. His wife was absent from home at the time. Thomas is now in the hospital.
