APPOINTMENT OF CADIS.

(Received May 12, 11.30 p.m.) London, May 12. Router's Canea correspondent reports that a decision to send a number of Cadis or judges to Crete led to 3000 inhabitants of Canea assembling. They resolved to prevent the Cadis' landing, arguing that the appointments were contrary to the two Cretan Constitutions recognised by the Powers. There have been no Cadis in Crete for eleven years.
