A DWELLING DESTROYED

Ashburton, May 3

A fairly old seven-roomed house, owned by Mr. Frank H. Choat, and occupied'by Mr and Mrs. Choat, senr., was gutted by fire and water shortly after ten o'clock to-night. The occupants were all at the theatre, and nothing was saved. The house was insured for £350, and the furniture for £150, but the offices are not available.
