NELSON v, MAITAI. The sixtli and final pennant match of tho season took place on Saturday afternoon, throe rinks on each green. Nelson had a very successful day, winling in five out of the six rinks, and ed in the aggregate by 31. Allen's i'itik put up a good score (35) on the Maitai green. Hockey returned the pennant to tho care of the Nelson Club until next season. The usual friendly references were made, and Mr W. W. de Castro, hon. secretary, who received tho pennant on behalf of his club, rpciprocated the cordial wishes. The clubs then exchanged cheers. On Saturday afternoon the players from the Nelson and Maitai Clubs who were not engaged in the pennant game were ""matched together, when Nelson succeeded in getting in a win by eight points. This was the fourth match of the season, the first three having been won by Maitai.
