MATCHES ELSEWHERE.

[United Peess Association.] Wellington, April 16. The holiday passed off quietly. Heavy rain on Saturday morning spoiled outdoor gatherings in some cases. The afternoon was fine, however, and some visiting football teams met on different grounds, but in no case was the play remarkable. Wellington Club and Christchurch drew with three points each, Poncke bent Albion (Christchurch) by 13 to nil, ! and in the inter-College tournament Christchurch High School Old Boys defeated Nelson College Old Boys by ten to three. Christchurch O^d Boys meet Wellington Old Boys to-morrow.
