IMPROVEMENT IN WEATHER CONDITIONS.
Tho sky was overcast on Saturday but no rain fell, and all out door fixtures were carried out. Yesterday was a perfect autumn day, tho sun shining brightly from a clear sky, and the atmosphere being bracing. In tlio afternoon driving parties were to bo seen in all directions, and the many charming resorts in and near the city wore visited by large numbers. The Koi ran an excursion to Tarakohe, where the Golden Bay Cement Co.'s extensive works are in course of erection, returning last night. The Boy Scouts, 30 in number, arc in camp at Stoke, and have been well cared for by Scoutmaster S. Einmett.
