THE TRUCKING QUESTION,
LUnited Press Association.]
Wellington, March 16,
The "Post" states that since the Blackball coal miners' award expired negotiations between the men and the company for a new working agreement have not resulted in a settlement of the points in dispute. The chief stumbling block is a demand by the men that the company shall do the trucking. It is claimed that if this b e conceded the extra, cost will reduce the company's profits to a large extent.
