A NAPIER FRACAS.

MAN FIRES AT THREE MEN

Napier, March 14

A man named J. Hannay was charged at the Magistrate's Court this afternoon with firing shots at three men last evening, and was remanded till to-morrow. His statement is that the. men molested him when taking a girl homo from the picture show,and afterwards waylaid him near his own residence at Ctf'.enso Hill. He then went into the house and got a shot gun. He discharged both barrels with the ybject, ho alleged, of frightening the- men. Ho also states that only one man was struck by the pellets. The others were uninjured.
