Tho Keep-it-Dark Gold Mining Co. report that in the workings of No 7 level tho miners struck stone o'.ght feet wide. Gold can be seen in tlo stone. The drought here is likely to materially affect mining operations, as the water in th'? streams is very Jnw. This has been the 'longest spell of dry weather for many years.
