WON BRIDE IN MARATHON WALTZ.

I'ive hundred persons saw William Huntington, of Brooklyn, win a Marathon waltz and a bride in Sorcers Hal, Rockaway avenue and Somers street, recently. Miss Nina Farrington, a girl twenty-two years old. who lives in a house near Somers street, was sought in marriage by Mr Huntington and Mr John Finlay, whose home n l* liberty and Georgia avenues. Both fond of waltzing, Miss Farrington could think of no more satisfactory tcet for a husband than an endurance waltz contest, and informed her suitors that she would marry the winner. Thb contest began about 9.30 o'clock. Friends of the, contestants urged them on in their efforts, and coached them. After three hours and a-half of dancing with relays of partners, Mr Finlay collapsed, and his opponent taking two more turns around the hall, was declared the .winner. Miss Farriiirgton's mother, though hardly approving of the. method of selection, told Mr Huntingtpn that she had no objection to him as a son-in-law, and tho wedding was to take place the next week in the same hall.
