Wellington, Mrach 9. The following is tho Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast: Thorn has been little change in the barometric pressure. The weather has been showery in the southernmost districts and changeable skies are reported generally. Moderate to strong southerly and westerly winds have prevailed and squally "about Foveaux Strait. Present indications are for a slowly rising barometer in the south, and but little movement in the north. Moderate to strong southerly and westerly winds will probably prevail. I'he weather conditions arc generally ■unsettled, promising passing showers in many parts of the country.
