LANDSLIP.

[United Press Association.] Creymouth, Feb. 15. A landslip occurred on the main road near Dobsou's stone quarry, necessitating closing the main road for several days. Some damage was also done to the railway and telegraph lines, which are now repaired. Therj was a. shortage of timber trucks, causing great inconvenience to shipping, heaps of timber ljing at every sawmill, but no "U" wagons to carry it. A number of these sent to the Main Trunk railway during last year's slump have not yet been returned. They are badly wanted, as several steamers await shipments.
