For seven years the formation of a club at Motueka has been xulder consideration, and thanks to those who were the, keenest a nice green was -made, and the Club took its'birtli under the most favoured conditions and promises at no distant date to be highly successful in respect to green and players. In the forenoon the following matches were played :— Motueka v. Maitai. Maitai: Harford, Stewart : Shone^ Lomax (b) 36.-Motueka: Budden, Brougham, Easton (s) 9. Nelson v. Takaka.
