This old established firm is again to the front with a fine display of general hardware, among the list being many specialities. The principal attraction is the- exhibit of ranges manufactured by the wetlkriown firm of Scott Bros. Christchurch, for whom they are sole agents for the Nelson province. These include the' Atlas, New Record, and Unique, the two latter being self contained. They are showing a New Record simply set out iri: the 6pen field with fire' going,' and the: results-,, both as regards the heating of; the oven and hot water, is everything that can be; desired. The special attraction is the Atlas, with tiled coverings arid nickel mounts. Kitchen specialities'are well to the fore, ailuiniuium Wareiof every description is shown,: and there are hiany novelties of interest to the housewife. .Bfethylated spirit irbnsi Alexander knife cleaners, meat safes, Pririius stoves, kerosene stoves, ice cream freezers, self-basting roasters, chip potato cutters,, etc, ideal steam cookers, and Redio polishing cloths. For the field arid garden use the firm show a wide range of garden tools, lawn mowers, pumps, bone. _ cutters,' stumping jacks, etc,Wuriderlich metal ceilings "are displayed to 'advantage. These ceilings are easily fixe<l and are' very attractive.' Dairy materialSjSUch as Leader churns, strainers and Baltic separators are. also shown.: O.K. and Sterling washing machines have also a prominent place in tlie stand. The very much used Congo Roofing is displayed. For the sportsman there is a fine (exhibition of rifles, guns, 1 sleeping bags and other requisites. "Among the list, arid well worth inspection, is the Winchester 401 calibre,, self-loading rifle, practically the latest for big game hunters that America has produced. Other sporting goods .for the tennis an<3 cricket player are ' also- shown. Visitors should iiot fail to spend a few minutes viewing this stand to-day, which is in charge of Mr. Hec. B.
