AN UNSOLVED MYSTERY.
[United Pbess Association.] . Dargaville, Dec. 13. __ The mystery connected with the disappearance of Mr Lewis,engineer, from on the Dairy Company's steamer, is still unsolved. Every attempt has been made to recover the body from the 1 river into which it is believed he was. precipitated, but so far without success. There seems to- be no doubt that he met with a watery grave. A sad feature of the disappearance is that he was shortly to be married.
