Lewis, offering 4 prayer, after which a couple ol hymns were sung. Requests for pray-. er were dealt with, and the Rev &.h. Thomas offered prayer. The Key Stanley Jenkin made the announcements j ; one important alteration, being that the .young- people's gathering will take place-at 3.45 on Thursday afternoon, instead of Friday as the later is breaking-tip day at the schools for the Christmas 'holidays. Mr Jenkiu said it had been found that the hour'nXed for the meeting of business men on Tuesday had prevented many from hearing . drifted from God. He urged that the drunkard, tho gambler, and other outstanding sinners, were not the only persons drifting from God. Self righteous men, self deducted men, respectable moil credited with some power and influence in the community, were drifting from God. There were men and women who ware colour blind spiritually. Aspirations for a Christian life were strangled, and they were drifting, drifting, further from God. Dr Henry then put the pointed question to those who felt that they had drifted from God, "will you resolve to drift no f lirtlior ? Will you do so tonight?" Mr Potts sang "You are drifting,", and tho Rev J. H. MacKenzie offered prayer.
