The weather conditions yesterday being favourable, the operations in connection with raising tho sunken steamer Koi word successfully carried" out by means of the scow Ngaru and Mr Johnson's large punt. Stout wire hawsers were passed underneath the vessel, and with the scow and punt on either side when the tide rose, the Koi was lifted, and towed by tho tug Gordon. The vessel was placed in a safe position on Wave Point, where she will to-day be placed high and dry at low water.

The steamer Koi, which was placed on Wave Point on Friday evening, was brought into tho harbour last night by the tug Gordon, and now lies near the Anchor Foundry. The Koi bears evidence of her five weeks' submersion, and is rathar badly knocked about, in addition to being covered with marine growths.
