The ; "Wellington-Brindisi despatch of mails of the 11th March, arived m London on the night of thej 15th instant.

Co. contemplate; holding 'gift, auctions in the city and different centres ,o£ population in the country districts, the proceeds of the sales to go .towafds providing a Nurses' Home.- In many places considerable sumß haye been ttiised by means of gift auctions. In every cas© the goods sold *re freely given.
