London. April 17. Maitland's balloon, witli a fomalo passenger, ascended at the Crystal Palace. When 2000 feet up, thunder and a hailstorm prevented the balloon from reaching an open space, and it was driven on to the housetop at Islington. Then it fell back into a garden. Neither of the passengers was hurt.
