MURDER. DICKMAN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. , [Pbess Association — Copybight.J (Received April 17, 5 •p.m.) London, April 16. J. A. Dickman,. who described the murder charges against him as absurd, was committed for trial. The dead body bf a colliery pay clerk named Nesbit was found under a seat in, a carriage on the Newcastle train on March 18th, : and money representing the fortnightly pay at the colliery, amounting to about £370, which he was oarrying, was missing. Seven bullet wounds were found in Nesbit' s head; and an examination bf the wounds arid of marks in the compartment showed that two revolvers had been used. Subsequently a man named John Alexander Dickman, an ex*colliery secretary, was arrested. in" connection with the Nesbit murder. He admitted that he travelled by the same train as Nesbit.
