Brewer's timber yard,. .CJifton Hill, covering half an acre in width, with mifils aud valuable machinery, was destroyed by fire. The damage is £20,000. The Flowerdale State school has heen burned down. A hoy, aged 14, confessed that he had fired the building to avoid having to attend school.
