In the House of Lords, Lord Lucas, Under-Secretary for War, stated that the Government was spending klw,---000 in the coming year upon, airship construction and experiments, leaving aeroplanes to private- experimenters. He added that' the Army and Navy were ilikely soon to have three dirigibles and two non-rigid balloons.
