AMUSEMENTS.
ROYAL STANDARD PICTURES. The new programme at the Druid's Hall continues' to attract good audiences. The pictures, "The Restora.tio"n;" "A story of Love and Jealousy" "The Crimp," showing how young children are obtained for the purpose of begging, and "The Jester," are all first class subjects, and come in for a lot of admiration. "The attempt to smash a Bank," By creating a run on it is frustrated by the bank officials heating sovereigns in a frying ,pan and delivering theon to the customers so hot that they can not pick them off the counter, thereby gaining time until another ban kcomes to their-as-sistance, when all are paid in full, and a splendid lot of comics are shown, including "The Theatre Pass," without doubt the funniest picture yet screened in this city. The programme will be repeated to-night for the last time, the usual bi-weekly, change taking pflace at the Saturday matinee, which commences at 2.30 p.m., the star film being "Virgihius." ■ ■,
