RIFLE SHOOTING.

NELSON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB

The competition for Wilkins and Field's trophy took place at the Toi Toi Valley range on Saturday, April 2nd and was completed, yesterday afternoon and resulted in a leg-in for Rifleman G. Small. The following are the scores of over 60, ranges 500 and 600 yards, .7 shots at each : —

The next competition will, start on Saturday afternoon. Ranges 200 and 500 yards, also a 10 shot quick firing match at 500 yards for Mr. Aitcheson. Smith's trophy. ■
