WEATHER FORECAST.

Wellington, April 11. Thw following is the Rev. D. O. _!**©'• flumraarv and forecast :— The barometer has fallen everywhere for a westerly area of low pressure, hut a sharp rise took place in the South last night, and wsj accompanied by high southerly winds and heavy rain in parts. Tlie barometer has- fallen again to-day, and present indications are for westerly winds, strong to gale, rain .in most part of the colony, snow on higher levels, and colder weather following. The lowest barometric pressure is due to pass in tho south after about 18 hours.
